Terms and Conditions

All bookings are subject to these terms and conditions of hire. By booking our services and paying a deposit, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Mirror Magic Cumbria will make every effort to deliver the equipment and service as agreed, if circumstances out of our control occur, this will not be deemed a breach of contract.

Food or drink are not allowed near the equipment.

Start and finish times will be agreed prior to the event. Any delays to the start time by the venue or hirer will not influence the finish time, any delays made by Mirror Magic Cumbria, such as; late arrival, technical issues, etc. will be added to the time at the end of the evening.

It is the hirer’s responsibility to inform Mirror Magic Cumbria of any stairs or limited access to the venue, failure to do so may result in a delayed start time or no access to the venue. Under these circumstances no refunds will be made.

Prices for the hire of our equipment and services will be sent out in the form of an invoice, which will include payment details for bacs or cheque payments. All bookings will be classed as confirmed once Mirror Magic Cumbria is in receipt of the non-refundable 20% deposit. The balance of the total fee (less deposit) must be made in full to Mirror Magic Cumbria 1 month prior to the event date.

Cancellation of hire must be confirmed in writing and have mutual consent of all parties. Mirror Magic Cumbria will charge the following fees should a cancellation occur:

·         30 days prior of the event – The full agreed fee.

·         60 days prior of the event – 50% of the full agreed fee.

·         120 days prior of the event – 25% of the full agreed fee.

The deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances. Cancellations are not accepted by e-mail or telephone, only in writing. Once we have received your notice of cancellation, we will confirm this to you in writing.

All of our equipment is PAC tested and up to date with all statutory requirements. To ensure our equipment performs to a high standard, it is advised to position our mirror away from the sound system.

Mirror Magic Cumbria has excellent backup services in place, with 24 hour technical support. Taking this into account, if the breakdown of our equipment occurs and is outside of our control, we will make every reasonable effort to rectify the situation. In the extremely unlikely occurrence of a non-performance, the hirer will be refunded in full.

Health & Safety
It is the hirers legal responsibility to comply with and ensure that current Health & Safety regulations are in place. A safe electrical supply must be provided within 5 metres of the set up area. All outside situations (Marquees/Outbuildings) must be dry, undercover and made safe for electrical use and insulated from the ground.

A minimum clear floor space is required of 3 metres x 2 metres with a head height of 3 metres.

Due to health and safety conditions children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult when using the magic selfie mirror.

Mirror Magic Cumbria have the right to perform in a safe environment, we reserve the right to cancel the performance should any physical, verbal abuse, or intimidating actions be made any of our staff. Under these circumstances no refund will be given.

Any damages to our equipment from the hirer or their guests will be compensated in full by the hirer. This also includes any future loss of business arising from our equipment not being available for future bookings.

Mirror Magic Cumbria reserves the right to cancel the performance should our equipment’s’ safety be compromised in any way.

Mirror Magic Cumbria are covered for up to £5million public liability insurance.

Data Protection
By entering into this agreement you are giving consent for Mirror Magic Cumbria to use all images in their marketing material. Any data presented to Mirror Magic Cumbria will be stored in accordance; data will not be shared with any 3rd party.
